A Trip to Malaysia – Long Awaited Family Vacation

Being a professional in today’s corporate world, it is quite difficult to have any time for leisure. Especially for people working in growing sectors, the competition is very tough and people always have to stay on their toes so as to not lose out their colleagues. Even in the more matured sectors, the situation is much the same. This kind of high competition puts quite a lot of stress on professionals, and the lack of leisure time doesn’t give anyone a chance to relax themselves either. That’s why it has become quite a necessity to take a holiday at least once a year so as to relax our minds. Recently, I decided to go on a holiday trip to Kuala Lumpur.

Kuala Lumpur, and Malaysia as a while, is a place I have always wanted to go on a holiday to. I am a bit of a nature lover, and it is common knowledge the Malaysia is one of the major biodiversity hotspots on Earth. Another reason to choose Malaysia was the excellent tourist places in Kuala Lumpur as well as surrounding places such as the Genting Highlands. Another thing that I absolutely wanted to try was the famous Malay cuisine. So I decided that Malaysia would be the perfect destination for a family holiday.

A Great Flight with Air Asia

After doing a lot of research, I decide to book my flight tickets on Air Asia this time. The   economy travel centric airline is one of the leading airlines in the budget airline segment, and my experience on their flight showed me why.

The seats on the flight are quite comfortable and even as an economy class seating arrangement, they maintain good legroom, which is really good for long haul flights. The meals on the flight were quite delicious as well. The crew were courteous and helpful, and were also prompt in solving an issue with my ticket where I was allotted the wrong seat. Overall, the experience was quite excellent for me and I enjoyed the flight thoroughly.

Having Fun At Kuala Lumpur City Centre

The Kuala Lumpur City Centre is an area of the town where there are many excellent places to visit. The philosophy behind the design of the KLCC was to make it “a city inside a city”. And it lives up to that philosophy quite well. While exploring the area, I found everything there. A beautiful, lush park to relax in, many hotels both high end and budget, and there are many huge malls for shopping as well. We spent many hours there exploring the area and visiting all places of interest there.

Excellent Stay At Kuala Lumpur International Hotel

The hotel we stayed at, the KL International Hotel was a great experience. Some of the highlights of the hotel are:

Excellent location, walking distance from KLCC.

Spacious and well-designed rooms.

Modern facilities such as Wi-Fi Connectivity, Business Centre, etc.

I had chosen the hotel after a lot of research and it was the perfect balance, for me, between facilities and cost. It is located just 2 km from the KL City Centre, which makes this hotel great for tourists.
